Tversity library not updating
We will now add our media files (images, audio, video files) to the TVersity library, so that these can be accessed from your PS3.Click on the "Library" button at the top to go to the sharing section. In this section we will look very briefly at TVersity, which can be used to stream AVI content to an Xbox 360 console over a home (wired or wireless) network. Please note that we will not be going into any of TVersity's main settings at all, nor will we be covering troubleshooting issues as we always have a full TVersity guide available on After Dawn that you can read.
This can include media rss feeds, youtube, google video, flickr, etc. In the "Settings" screen make sure the playback device is set to "automatically detect" 5. In XBMC add a new source and browse for a new share 8. A result should come up named "computername : TVersity Media Server". You can easily test this by using this small application: 12. Here are some of mine: * G4TV (easily subscribe by using the tversity buttons) * Viewmy TV (easily subscribe by using the tversity buttons) * Boing Boing * TED talks * Discovery Channel casts * Revision3 podcasts * National Geographic podcasts * Pixel Perfect (photoshop stuff) Anyway, this will depend on your interests. This way, you won't unnecessarily load in a bunch of media files that you don't plan on sharing. You can click on the advanced button to set if the files in this folder should override the main transcoding settings. This is useful when adding a single file, and that file refuses to play on the device even though the TVersity thinks the file should be compatible with the device - so here, you can force TVersity to transcode this problematic file using the "Always" option - the inverse is true, when a file that the device can play natively is detected by TVersity as being not compatible - using "Never" forces transcoding to be turned off.
Once you have added in all your media, the "Sources" tree view on the left hand side should list them.
Give the Folder a title and click the Submit button.
